A SHOWER OF LOVELINESS
At Cup of Lovely, the small things are the big things...especially when it comes to precious, itty bitty babies! A beloved mama-to-be and darling daughter on-the-way (my niece!) deserved a shower of LOVE and all things lovely to go with it.
A sunshine-filled Sunday set the scene for the lakeside celebration, amid a bevy of delightful details:
Pretty parasols hung overhead with drippy amaranthus.
Rose-shaped napkins and sachets of lavender accented champagne twist linens.
Sparkling vases, candlesticks, and collected teacups hosted feminine garden blooms.
Vintage china with fanciful floral featured table menus.
Darling bites of pastries and finger sandwiches along with sips of colorful fruit juices pleased the palette.
Brunch was topped off with a trio of decorated cakes inspired by English floral patterns.
The seat of honor for the glowing mama was adorned with oversized flowers and greenery.
The list goes on...
It was an afternoon to cherish, and worth reliving through pictures time and again. So grateful to be part of this girl gang...and can't wait to add one more to the party soon!

In lieu of a guestbook, guests made custom onesies and bibs for the newborn with darling iron-on decals and signed their creation with sweet "made by" tags.
Guests played a fun "Pacifier Hunt" game - the winner received a lovely prize of English tea, shortbread cookies, and bath goodies to pamper themselves
The mother-to-be's exquisite vintage chaise was used as a party focal point and loveseat as the parents-to-be opened shower gifts
